how are there not around the clock riots? how do they get away with it? my grandma died and this woman is alive, not by luck or genetics— at least not alone— but because of money and care no one else has access to. it’s a selfish thought, but yeah… my first thought was, my god, what if we all had her doctors… that around the clock top shelf care without getting an ulcer over the bill… what if we could all be safely carried to 95?

Reminder that the Queen is still immensely wealthy while austerity measures mean that pupils in Wales have to go to school hungry and be fed out of pocket by teachers. One teacher in the article I linked said that this was the most poverty he had seen after 25 years at the school.
I’m not saying the Queen is directly snatching the food off their plates, but I am saying nobody should be that rich when children have to choose between breakfast or lunch because they can’t afford both.
